  • Gates close at 4pm 23rd January 2017

When can we buy tickets? Can we buy Tickets onsite?
Tickets are onsale soon, until 7th Jan 2017 unless Sold Out prior. Get your ticket earlier rather than later, as we CAN and WILL sellout. STRICTLY NO Ticket sales will be available onsite.

Should I bring money along to the festival?
If you want to buy things, yes! We will have Food, Gear, and Merchandise available for purchase. There is no ATM onsite, the closest ATM is accessible at Geelong Shops.

Are we allowed to use the kitchen for personal items?
Unfortunately there is no permitted use of the kitchen including Fridge, Microwave, Stovetop, Oven etc.

Will there be food available for purchase onsite?
Yes! Our lovely Sokil caterers will be back again this year, with a more scrumptious and wholesome menu catering for vegetarian and meat eaters. If you have special dietary requirements please make sure you bring suitable food to feed yourself.

Is alcohol allowed onsite? More importantly is there a BAR onsite?
No BYO alcohol is allowed in the workshop areas or special events/shows (renegade/circus olympics). You ARE allowed to buy alcohol from the Bar especially encouraged at Renegade! Our bar staff are all RSA trained and normal RSA standards will apply. Overtly drunk and disorderly behaviour will cause you to be kicked offsite.

Is there power onsite?
Yes! There are a total of 8 powered Campsites (first in best dressed!) and there are power points in the main Rec Hall, and the Dorm Rooms.

Is there mobile phone reception onsite?
This depends on your mobile service, if you are with Telstra you have a chance of getting reception but with some other carriers you may not be so lucky. Please make all of your plans in ADVANCE so you don't rely on your phone for transport etc.

Can I bring my kids?
Yes, you can. There are discounted children's passes available on the site. Under 5yrs = free.

Do I need to bring my own gear/toys to play with?
There will be some gear provided, but if you have your own gear or some to share please bring it along! Please be respectful and ask before 'helping yourself' to someone else's gear, and return it after you have finished! And say thankyou!

Will there be fuel provided?
There will be some fuel provided, but we recommend bringing your own if you want to burn all night! Permitted fuels* are STRICTLY only Firesol, Firelight, Firewater, D60, IsoparG, Recosol or similar MSDS. All fuels must be OK'd by the Safety Officer on duty within the fire space before commencing. We will have a 'communal' fuel bucket for you to contribute to as we don't want random fuel buckets lying around everywhere!
*Shellite is permitted for high-level Fire Eating tricks by experienced individuals only. Shellite is NOT suitable for spinning with.

What else do I need to bring?
  • If you are camping please bring all of your own camping gear, and if you would like to use power please remember to bring an extension cable and powerboard.
